Safety Protocols That You Must Follow While in San Miguel de Allende
We feel it important to let you know some of the safety protocols that the city of San Miguel de Allende and the State of Guanajuato are requiring of you as well. These are guidelines that have been created by the World Travel and Tourism Council to help keep you healthy during your visit.
- Please be aware that when you arrive at the airport, your temperature will be taken. If you are using our driver for an airport pick-up, he will also take your temperature prior to entering his vehicle. As you enter the city limits, you will be funneled through sanitary checkpoints where your temperature will also be taken. If at any time you are found to have a fever, you may not be allowed to continue on your journey to San Miguel de Allende.
- In San Miguel de Allende and the entire State of Guanajuato, it is mandatory to wear face masks in public spaces at all times. This includes bed and breakfast guests while on the property, except in the guestrooms. Guests must wear masks to and from the breakfast area, and the masks may be removed while eating. This is for the safety of all guests and personnel. Please bring enough masks to be able to wash and change daily. This is not optional in San Miguel. It is mandatory.
- When you arrive at the property you will be required to either apply hand sanitizer or wash your hands. You are also required to clean your shoes with the sanitizing foot mat when you enter from the street.
Sanitation and Preparation of Your Room
For your safety, prior to your arrival, your guest room will be thoroughly cleaned, disinfected and vacant for a minimum period of 72 hours.
The Municipality of San Miguel de Allende is requiring that our staff never enter your guest room for any reason in order to decrease the probability of spreading the Covid-19 virus.
